Officially started chemo and radiation today.
The Chemo part is easy, just oral pills to pop at home.
The radiation was pretty easy too, but weirder – the mask seemed tighter and more restrictive today, I could feel my cheeks mildly pulsing and twitching under it. But the actual zapping was quick and quiet – the table I was bolted to would move around at different angles which was all very Sci fi like.
Now I go back and do this every weekday for the next six weeks.
Zap it all out! Here we go!
